Privacy policy

What we collect
- Account data: your email address and sign-in tokens (Supabase Auth), your plan and Stripe customer id (Stripe holds card details; we never see them).
- What you give us: niche names, TikTok and Instagram handles and hashtags, your voice profile and sample posts, and the extra context you type into adapt-for-me.
- Public platform data: public profile and post data (handle, display name, follower count, bio, captions, public counts, publish dates and links) for the accounts in your niches, fetched through Apify's TikTok and Instagram scrapers and cached for 24 hours; posts are kept so the feed and baselines work.
- Post media, briefly: to analyze a post we fetch its video or images and send them to Google's Gemini. We do not keep copies, and public pages never show creators' photos or videos.
- Generated content: teardowns, post analyses, niche reports and adaptations, produced by Anthropic's Claude and Google's Gemini models from the data above.
- Usage: scans, their cost, and errors, so we can enforce plan limits and debug. Minimal structured logs and error reports (Sentry).
How we use it
Only to provide the service: scoring outliers, analyzing posts, generating teardowns and adaptations, sending the weekly digest you opted into, billing, and support. We do not sell data or use it to train models.
Processors
Supabase (database and auth), Apify (public TikTok and Instagram data), Google (Gemini: analysis of posts' video and images), Anthropic (teardowns, reports and adaptations), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), Google Analytics (traffic measurement on the public site: page views, referrers, country and device; no account data is sent).
If your posts appear in Outliers
Outliers reads public TikTok and Instagram accounts that its users add to a niche, or that discovery finds posting under a niche's hashtags and search phrases. For those accounts it keeps the public profile and post data listed above, compares each post with the account's own usual reach, and writes an analysis of the posts that stood out. Public niches show short hooks, public counts, links and that analysis on pages anyone can read.
You can ask to be left out at any time: email support@ninefold.ai with your handle, or use the removal link on any public page. We stop tracking the account, delete the posts, counts and analyses we hold about it within one month, and take it off every public page. We keep only the handle on a block list, so the account is not collected again.
MCP clients
When you connect Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client, that client receives the tool results you ask for (niches, outliers, teardowns, adaptations) under an OAuth token you can revoke at any time from Settings or by removing the connector in the client.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. Email support@ninefold.ai to export or delete your account; we complete deletion within 30 days.
